TB thinks Bioware has gone too far

Basically, TB discusses Bioware’s decision to have at-launch DLC.

I gotta say, I agree with him and I think you’re kinda insane not to. Sure, collector’s edition purchasers get the DLC free of charge, but they’re still paying 20 bucks over the standard game price and the standard game is still 60 bucks. The same thing happened with ME2 (although if you bought the game period you got Zaeed) and I remember controversy around that. It’s just ridiculous. As TB puts it, “it’s blatantly milking the consumer”.

In most things TB is right. EA is a terrible publisher. But Keep in mind the collectors edition comes with much more than just the DLC. For 20 more dollars you get:

• Art Book
• In game weapon and armor packs
• Fabric Patch
• Collectible tin
• 4x6 Lithograph
• Soundtrack
• Comic Book
• The character
• Bonus Avatar
• robot puppy
• Shepard hoodie

I think thats actually alot for $20. Do I think DAY ONE DLC is good? Hell no. Especially for something that is such a big part of the universe of the ME games. But… I do have to say, you get alot of shit for $10
