I have always hated Online Passes, Day one DLCs and all of the other ways publishers try to get money. But for this Mass Effect 3 stuff, I think people are really blowing it out of proportion. I believe it is because I am getting the collectors edition. I ordered it 4 months ago because I am so fucking excited about it. Over these past few months with all of the leaks and everything I am still excited. I don’t know why. I know I’m going to be disappointed in some way, no matter what. 

 I just believe people are placing blame in the wrong spot. EA is the publisher. EA has a noose around Bioware that basically says, “Do what we want, or your game will never see daylight”. I bet most employees didn’t want to put the character as DLC. They know how dumb it is. EA just has the first and final word, there’s not much you can do about it.

I just feel like the twenty more dollars I am spending on the Collectors Edition is more than worth it… I know it’s wrong… But I do.
